Why do I coach?
It is a privilege to witness my coaching clients realise that they have the necessary personal resources to transform their working lives in ways that benefit themselves and their business – in other words, to fully realise their intention.
I enjoy the creative challenge of drawing on my experience and expertise to develop a bespoke approach for each client; working together generates solutions unique to their situation and organisational needs.
My work is underpinned by sincerely held personal values focused on equity, diversity and environmental responsibility.
I believe that we can each make the world a better place – and have a responsibility to future generations to do so.
For many years I chose to express this through developing an expertise in building partnerships that supported people’s engagement with their environment. My achievements, whether influencing others through speaking at conferences, facilitating focused events for multi-professional groups, or by literally making new natural places, are based on effective listening and respect for the other.
A few years ago I returned to my person to person roots and trained as a leadership and executive coach for which effective listening – paying full attention to the other – is also a vital underpinning skill.
Experiencing the positive shifts that my clients make reminds me that my own shift in extending my facilitation skills – I still offer expert facilitation- is an effective contribution to making the world a better place.
Warm regards,
Jacqui
